On-Location Filming Increases In Los Angeles

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood gives local production a massive bump.

The numbers are in and Deadline is reporting that on-location filming in greater Los Angeles during 2018 was up over the year before. According to Film L.A., 2018 shows a massive 12.2 percent spike in local feature film production, thanks in large part to Quentin Tarantino’s epic Once Upon A Time In Hollywood shoot. Tarantino’s 9th film, which has been described as a Pulp Fiction-esque ensemble piece set in Los Angeles during the tumultuous summer of 1969, is slated to hit theaters on July 26, 2019.
