It’s been a busy week for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Now the trades are reporting that Timothy Olyphant is in negotiations to play a key role in the film, alongside the previously announced Leonard DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie. There’s no word yet on what role the actor will play but it comes as no surprise that Tarantino is a fan. The director has expressed his affinity for the FX series Justified, which like the director’s own Jackie Brown is based on an Elmore Leonard story, and has previously cast Olyphant’s television co-star Walton Goggins in Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight. Tarantino’s 9th film, which has been described as a Pulp Fiction-esque ensemble piece set in Los Angeles during the tumultuous summer of 1969, is slated to hit theaters on August 9, 2019.
