After months of rumors, Deadline is reporting that Margot Robbie has now been officially offered the role of Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. The Oscar-nominated I, Tonya actress is in negotiations to join Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt for Tarantino’s 9th film, which has been described as a Pulp Fiction-esque ensemble piece set in Los Angeles during the tumultuous summer of 1969. The widely-anticipated movie is slated to hit theaters on August 9, 2019, the 50th anniversary of the Manson Family’s infamous Tate-LaBianca murders.
