Follow That Bird

Who does not like a road movie starring Jim Henson’s lovable characters from Sesame Street? “Everyone’s on the trail of that big yellow tail!” Thinking a bird should be with his own kind, the meddling social worker Miss Finch takes Big Bird away from his famous New York street and plops him down in Illinois with a bird family. Big Bird longs for his real home on Sesame Street and runs away. Along his journey (on foot of course, as he doesn’t fly) he is met and helped by all our favorites, including Kermit, Oscar the Grouch, Bert & Ernie, the Cookie Monster, the Count (in a rad Countmobile) and more!  His adventures include a stop in Toadstool, the Mushroom City, and their annual parade, a ride with a truck driver played by Waylon Jennings and an unwanted stint at a carnival. Other guest stars include Chevy Chase, John Candy and Sandra Bernhard. Follow That Bird is charming, fun, heartwarming and absolutely not-be-missed!
