Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla

Crooner (and future Massacre Mafia Style / Gone with the Pope filmmaker) Duke Mitchell and rubber-faced comedian Sam Patrillo take their Martin & Lewis-style nightclub act to the big screen in a horror film that will stiffen you with laughter! When the pair land on the exotic island of Cola Cola, they’ll entertain the locals (while Duke woos the chief’s daughter) and try to find a way home. Will the mysterious scientist Dr. Zabor (Bela Lugosi) be able to help? William Beaudine directs from a script by his frequent Bowery Boys collaborator Tim Ryan.
