Xanadu

A fantasy, a musical, a place where dreams come true! A radiant Olivia Newton-John sings, dances, and skates through an endlessly entertaining cult favorite that will have you joyously dancing along in the aisles. A struggling artist (The Warriors’ Michael Beck) in Los Angeles meets a mysterious muse (Newton-John) and befriends a former big band leader (Gene Kelly in his final feature), while dreaming of converting a decaying auditorium (the Pan-Pacific Auditorium, which was located just down the street from the New Bev) into a thriving roller-disco, all backed by the blockbuster tunes of ONJ and Electric Light Orchestra.
