In order to solve the crime of the century, these two will have to play nice. A down-on-his-luck private dick and a brawny enforcer in 1970s Los Angeles will have to put their differences aside and work together to unravel the sprawling, seemingly unrelated cases of a missing girl and the mysterious death of a porn star. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling riotously headline writer-director Shane Black’s delightful comedy noir, with an exquisite ensemble that includes Angourie Rice, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s Margaret Qualley, Matt Bomer, Keith David, and Kim Basinger.
