The longtime friendship between horse trainer Bill and jockey Mike is put to extreme strain by avaricious social climber Janet, who has been romancing both of them. As each man deals with money troubles caused by Janet’s greed, they agree to one more partnership, sharing the risk of purchasing a filly they believe could become a champion racehorse.
