Scuba divers David Sanders (Nick Nolte) and Gail Burke (Jacqueline Bisset) recover several artifacts near a shipwreck off the coast of Bermuda, catching the attention of local drug kingpin, “Cloche”. With the help of noted treasure hunter Romer Treece (Robert Shaw), the group finds that the underwater wreckage contains more than they could have ever expected – cue the bad guys! Perilous plundering and deadly dives beg the question: Is anything worth the terror of The Deep? Jaws-author Peter Benchley  adapts his own novel for the big screen.
