The Crazy World of Julius Vrooder

Julius Vrooder (Timothy Bottoms) is back from Vietnam, forced to live out his days in a VA hospital with injured and disturbed veterans. Psychologically sound, Vrooder feigns mental illness in front of the doctors, entertaining his fellow patients and causing the occasional headache. He often escapes to his underground bunker, illegally outfitted with electricity and telephone services.
