An Oscar-winning Paul Newman returns as The Hustler, Fast Eddie Felson, in Martin Scorsese’s The Color of Money. This time, Felson mentors hotshot pool shark Vincent (Tom Cruise, who did most of his own trick shooting for the film) on how to use his raw talent to rack up heavy cash on the circuit. They enter into an uneasy, but lucrative, partnership, along with Vincent’s alluring, savvy girlfriend Carmen (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). The film takes you into the dreamy, hazy world of the pool hall with an unrivaled sense of cool only Scorsese could provide.
