Alvin, Simon, and Theodore go on a grand globe-trotting escapade in their first feature film, the entertaining blast of ‘80s animation, The Chipmunk Adventure. The Chipettes join the boys for some high-flying fun – an action-packed hot air balloon race around the world, interspersed with a few lively musical numbers. But danger lurks around every corner, as the singing rodents are unwitting pawns in a diamond smuggling operation. Janice Karman, the voice behind Theodore and all three Chipettes, directs.
