A cowboy in Hawaii? Who wants to start a cattle ranch? Sounds like a partnership in laughs! Disney is known for their zany live action, family-friendly films and the rarely-screened The Castaway Cowboy fits the bill. New Bev fave James Garner stars as the cowboy who is rescued at sea by a young boy whose mother Henrietta (Vera Miles) owns the farm that is soon to be turned into a cattle ranch. Another Bev favorite, Robert Culp, co-stars as the up-to-no-good banker trying to steal Henrietta’s land.
