An American member of the Royal Air Force returns to London to carouse with his WWII pals, and ends up in a drunken fight with a surly pilot. He reawakens the next afternoon with no memory of what happened afterward, but discovers his rival has been murdered, and he’s now the prime suspect! Uniquely British propriety gets challenged by classic American gumption as the desperate Yank tries to find who set him up.
