The large ensemble includes Douglas, Laurence Olivier, Jean Simmons, Charles Laughton, Peter Ustinov, John Gavin, and Tony Curtis. Ustinov scored the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, while the film’s lush cinematography, art direction, and costuming also picked up statuettes.
