Here is life’s song of love, beating with laughs and sobs, its melody in tune with your own heartstrings! The “Queen of Movies,” Mary Pickford, reteams with her Little Annie Rooney director William Beaudine for one of the most famous films of the silent era. Pickford plays the oldest in a pack of orphans being harshly mistreated on a farm hidden deep in the bayou, who must lead them to safety and a better life. Selected by the Library of Congress in 2025 for preservation in the National Film Registry as “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant,” Sparrows remains as potent & powerful as it was when originally released.
