What would be a career-defining apex for most any actor was yet another notch in Pacino’s endless arsenal of iconic screen performances. Scarface marked one of Al’s first screen performances in which he moved in the fearlessly operatic, flamboyantly knife-edged mode that deliciously colors many of his later efforts – and it remains untouchable to this day. Plus, it’s still supremely entertaining, especially with the timeless soundtrack and searing Giorgio Moroder score cranked LOUD.
