It’s got that mad jazz beat! When the town’s mayor (Felix Felton) forces a teenage jazz hangout to discontinue the use of its TV and jukebox, Helen (Helen Shapiro) and Craig (Craig Douglas) set up a show to make jazz acceptable to the townspeople. Enlisting the talents of Del Shannon, The Dukes of Dixieland, Gary (U.S.) Bonds and Chubby Checker himself, Helen and Craig think they’ve got a winning strategy. The recalcitrant mayor, however, has his own plans and throws several obstacles in their way.
