A hard-hitting, no-nonsense crime pic from director Michael Ritchie, Prime Cut follows a tough Chicago mob enforcer (Lee Marvin) sent to Kansas City to collect a debt from a corrupt but charming businessman (Gene Hackman) involved meatpacking & flesh peddling. But these men have an old beef to settle, only complicated by a naked young woman (Sissy Spacek) up for auction, in this brutal actioner packed with prime set pieces.
