Character actor Marc Lawrence (probably best remembered for his role as Cobby in The Asphalt Jungle) both directs and stars in this eerie, low key horror film about Zambrini, a farmer and café owner who hires an escaped mental patient as a waitress. The director cast his own daughter Toni Lawrence as the troubled woman whose traumatic past spurs her to murder any man who tries to seduce her. Adding to the macabre hijinks, Zambrini just happens to already have a pen full of hogs with a taste for human flesh. All the better to dispose of any traces of his new employee’s victims. Before too long, the local sheriff (Jesse Vint, of Macon County Line) begins to suspect things aren’t quite right at the Zambrini homestead.
