Robinson as the ruthless gang boss trying to prevent a rival’s bank robbery on his turf. Mary Nolan and Owen Moore co-star. We will be screening the rarely seen silent release version (with dialogue intertitles) – prepared for theaters that had not yet switched over to sound – of Browning’s early talkie.
