Our tribute to John Cassavetes, the actor, continues in this 1983 drama about the friendship between two unlikely people, middle-aged alcoholic Marvin (Cassavetes) and an 11 year old orphan named Tige (Gibran Brown). A mix of fun and serious (race relations, adoption and alcoholism), Marvin & Tige also features Billy Dee Williams as the father who never knew Tige existed.
