The sequel to the acclaimed classic National Velvet sports an all-star cast that includes Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Plummer and Tatum O’Neal. After the tragic death of her parents, American girl Sarah Brown (O’Neal) moves to England to live with an aunt and uncle. Her aunt is none other than Velvet Brown, the character played by Elizabeth Taylor in the first movie. Sarah finds comfort in the form of a foal sired by Velvet‘s champion horse, The Pie. A heartwarming coming of age story with the beautiful English countryside as a backdrop and a fantastic performance by O’Neal, who did most of her own riding.
