Pietro Germi’s legendary black comedy Divorce Italian Style casts Marcello Mastroianni as an aristocrat desperate to marry his young cousin but blocked by the unfortunate fact that he’s already married to someone else. But with divorce illegal, he decides he must come up with a more devious plan to escape his vows.
