Wes Craven’s follow-up to his horror masterpiece A Nightmare on Elm Street is a teen terror take on Frankenstein for the high tech 1980s. It’s cartoonishly unhinged and supremely entertaining, featuring one of the best kills in the Craven canon and an unforgettable end credits song, not to mention Kristy Swanson’s exceptional turn as a zombie robot and Roger Rabbit’s Charles Fleischer as the voice of BB.
