Danger: Diabolik

The psychedelic, swinging ‘60s super-crime caper Danger: Diabolik is a colorful jolt of James-Bond-meets-Batman high camp adventure from legendary director Mario Bava, composer Ennio Morricone and Barbarella producer Dino De Laurentiis! Based on the popular Italian comics, Diabolik (John Phillip Law) is a suave master criminal out for all he can take, seduce or get away with. With his lovely partner (Marisa Mell) on his arm, he’ll have to stay one step ahead of the police with an arsenal of clever gadgets, especially when a jealous underworld kingpin (Thunderball’s Adolfo Celi) teams with the law (Michel Piccoli, Terry-Thomas) to help catch him.

“The movie Barbarella should have been.” – Roger Ebert

“A delightfully outlandish comic strip directed by the master of the Italian B movie.” – Tom Milne, Time Out
