Aloha, Bobby and Rose

Bobby has a ’68 Camaro. Rose has a five-year-old kid. When a prank on their first date has tragic consequences, they become lovers and fugitives. Paul Le Mat and Dianne Hull portray two California kids trapped in dead-end lives but looking for a brighter future. Featuring a stacked soundtrack of classic tunes and incredible footage of ’70s Los Angeles, writer-director Floyd Mutrux presents a neglected gem that’s ripe for rediscovery.

“One of the ‘70s great forgotten films” – Noel Murray, Los Angeles Times
