They’ve come a long way since the Summer of ’42! The “terrible trio” of Gary Grimes (Hermie), Jerry Houser (Oscy) and Oliver Conant (Benjy) return in Class of ’44 for another slice-of-life dramedy set against the backdrop of WWII. Following their high school graduation, Benjy takes off to join the Marines while Hermie & Oscy head off to college where Hermie falls in love with a beautiful co-ed (Deborah Winters) and the boys will have to deal with balancing schoolwork, girls, and the frat president (William Atherton) overseeing their hazing rituals.
