Disney’s family friendly film noir is an innovative and Oscar-winning mix of live-action and animation that tells the story of a man, a woman, and a rabbit in a triangle of trouble in a hard-boiled Los Angeles where cartoons mingle with real-life Hollywood. But when the patty-cake paramour of a beautiful singer turns up dead, all fingers point to her Maroon Cartoon star husband, and it will be up to a toon-hating private detective (Bob Hoskins) to figure out Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

“Sheer, enchanted entertainment from the first frame to the last — a joyous, giddy, goofy celebration of the kind of fun you can have with a movie camera.” – Roger Ebert
