Ulzana’s Raid

In addition to serving as owner and head programmer for the New Beverly Cinema, Quentin Tarantino is now writing about the films he’s selected to showcase on the big screen. In a fresh piece for the New Beverly blog, he calls Ulzana’s Raid (1972) “hands down Aldrich’s best films of the seventies, as well as being one of the greatest westerns of the seventies.”  Read the whole post here and then see a gorgeous 35mm print of Ulzana’s Raid at the New Bev March 20th & 21st.
