The Family
Double crossed and left for dead, a professional hitman (Charles Bronson) vows revenge after his release from prison. When the trail leads him to New Orleans, he finds his former girlfriend (Bronson’s real-life wife Jill Ireland) and a powerful crime boss (Telly Savalas) who may be behind it all. Featuring a classic score by Ennio Morricone, a fast-paced screenplay co-written by Lina Wertmüller, and stellar direction from Sergio Sollima (The Big Gundown, Face to Face), The Family (aka Violent City) is a tough-as-nails gangland saga that explodes on screen.
