Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

The fourth film in the magical franchise finds everything about to change for Harry and his Hogwarts pals as they leave childhood behind and find themselves faced with dangers beyond imagination, not to mention the terrors of finding a dance partner for the Yule Ball. Our titular hero will have to balance schoolwork, friendship, and the TriWizard Tournament when he’s mysteriously drawn into a hazardous competition between rival schools of magic.

“With this fourth film, the Harry Potter saga demonstrates more than ever the resiliency of J.K. Rowling’s original invention.” – Roger Ebert

“It’s not until Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that a film has successfully re-created the sense of stirring magical adventure and engaged, edge-of-your-seat excitement that has made the books such an international phenomenon.” – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times

“J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter just keeps growing up. So do the Potter movies, in size, in ambition and in visual splendor – and with increasingly stunning results.” – Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune
