Charlie Chaplin (April 16, 1889 – December 25, 1977) – perhaps the greatest comic actor of all-time, Chaplin remains one of the most important figures and beloved performers in film history with a legacy of iconic masterpieces such as The Kid (1921), City Lights (1931), Modern Times (1936), and The Great Dictator (1940).
