I heard it’s the unfinished film by Orson Welles, and Netflix has bought the film and is distributing it. And I’ve heard that the Oscar-winning composer, that you may or may not know who, Michel Legrand (Yentl, Les Miserables, Secret Places, The Jesse Owens Story) has written a score for the unfinished feature, and probably recording it with the real live orchestra. We could check it out in 35mm film, digitally restored, and maybe have Michel be our guest for the screening. Let me know, of what you think of this request.

We’ll have to wait and see if Netflix makes a print or allows screenings.

The Other Side of the Wind would be a great movie to reopen the theatre with. Can’t imagine Netflix wouldn’t strike a print for QT.

Maybe they’re probably looking for a film laboratory to transfer digital to 35mm film like fotokem
