I know there hasn’t been a Star Wars film in New Beverly Cinema, since… ever. I figure we could get a 35mm print of the latest feature by the great J.J. Abrams, since ‘The Force Awakens’. We can have some of the cast and crew to be the guest of honors to show ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ in glorious 35mm film. We should also invite John Williams in honor of his finest score that we will listen and enjoy to, in December. All in favor?

Here’s a trailer to get us in the mood:

I think we are more likely to see The Day The Clown Cried at The Bev than the new SW movie. Just do not see it happening.

But the film is shot in 35mm and 65mm, and it’ll be printed in 35mm and 70mm film prints

That does not seem like a very New Beverly sort of thing to program.

On the other hand, if a The Day the Clown Cried screening happened at the Bev, the excitement would probably kill me.

Unless you count the Joker movie.
