    – John Woo: A Better Tomorrow 1 and 2
    – Wong Kar-Wai: Chungking Express and Fallen Angels
Happy Together and In the Mood for Love
    – Brian De Palma: Body Double and another lesser-known movie
    – Maybe some Jacques Tati, Fassbinder, or more Godard. You guys do some awesome foreign doubles. Seeing Lina Wertmuller’s Swept Away and Love & Anarchy blew my mind. Also I’d love some Argento double bills. Was stoked to go to the all-nighter, but those tix sold out too fast!

-Ralph Bakshi: Coonskin and Heavy Traffic

    Welcome to the forum, Ryan!

I’d love to see Body Double paired with De Palma’s Femme Fatale.

Anna Biller – “Viva” and “The Love Witch”

I agree with the above post–VIVA and THE LOVE WITCH would be a terrific double.

A good film to pair with “reckless” would be Abel Ferrara’s “China girl”z

Ralph Nelson “The Wrath of God” and “The Wilby Conspiracy.” Soldier Blue would also make sense.

Michael Reeves “The Conqueror Worm” and “She Beast.”

    and because I have to…

Duccio Tessari “A Pistol for Ringo” and “The Bloodstained Butterfly.”

Last year there was a screening of the Z Channel doc. I’d love to see sort of a tribute to Z Channel for a month screening some of the movies that were showcased in the movie like Salvador or Once Upon Time in America

Abel Ferrara – Ms. 45 / Bad Lieutenant
Pete Walker – Cool It Carol / Die Screaming, Marianne
Dusan Makavejev – WR: Mysteries of the Organism / Sweet Movie

I’d love to see a series of Sofia Coppola double bills. After seeing the trailer last night, I really want to see MARIE ANTOINETTE on 35mm but it would be great to see all of her films on 35mm/the big screen again.

I absolutely agree with msjennmurphy! I’d reaaaaally love to see a double of MARIE ANTOINETTE and THE VIRGIN SUICIDES.

I’d love to see a Dusan Makavejev double bill. THE COCA-COLA KID and MONTENEGRO seldom screen.

    I second that^ idea.

    LA needs more Makavejev
