Jules

Jules’ love affair with films started at a young age when her Mom took her to see BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID. Disney classics at the Fox Venice or Loyola Theater in Westchester with her grandparents were also part of her early movie going fare. Most memorable though might have been the disaster movies of the 1970’s such as THE TOWERING INFERNO, THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE and EARTHQUAKE. In particular the Sensurround audio in EARTHQUAKE sent her running from her seat to the lobby and remains one of her favorite movie experiences. As a teenager, movies in Westwood and the big single house theatres were a weekend occurrence, often getting adults to purchase tickets to R rated movies, with THE WARRIORS being the crowning achievement in that department. Other childhood influences that have stayed the course into adult life include comic books, anything PLANET OF THE APES, Disneyland (annual passport holder), travel and animals (two cats, Harry & little blind Emily, plus Chloe the three-legged wonder dog).
